The "family" went to see the Astros play the Red Sox. Chris got really good tickets and J, M, I went with him. He got really good tickets-we were on the second row close to the Astros dugout. The seats were just amazing!

J was happy. He was able to make a trip to the gift shop. I've never met a man as enamored with gift shops as him. He bought himself an Astros hat. M got a foam finger, Astro Crocs, and a program for her grandaddy. Tell me someone isn't wrapped around her finger. And then there was the food. We all enjoyed some form of baseball food. M really wanted funnel cake but we couldn't find any.

The game wasn't a good one for Astros fans. We left at the bottom of the 7th and there had been no points scored for the Astros. (Chris informed me it's runs in a baseball game-not points. I thought it all meant the same thing!)

It's usually interesting watching Chris and J together at an event. Everyone went to the gift shop and concession stand while I watched the teams warm up. J comes back and asks what I want from the concession stand. I tell him and he leaves again. Five minutes later J is back with his food but no Chris. Turns out Chris had bought J's food and then got back in line to get mine. Now you would think that my husband would stand in line for my food but nope my ex-husband did! Chris is a good guy.

I'd share a couple of pics from the game but we didn't take our camera. I took some with Chris' but he's holding them ransom until I send him some of the ones I promised him. Maybe he'll share!
