Hmmm, maybe that's why our school cafeteria does the turkey and dressing meal a week early. Never thought of that!
Okay, I sent my first comment then noticed your playlist. Before marriage and a child I did a lot more movies. One evening our movies of choice were John Waters' Pink Flamingoes and David Cronenberg's Crash. I think I almost lost a friend that night! But you experience so much through movies...the good and the bad!
Isn't it amazing how music so often coincides with times of our lives. And there's nothing wrong with Kelly Clarkson!
I can remember listening to this song with my dad growing up. I can also remember being fascinated by all the meanings behind the lyrics. Thanks so much for sharing.
I love Paula Deen!
You're right in saying that it becomes much harder to say it's wrong when you put a face on it. J has an aunt who has been with her partner for more than 35 years. You and Ray have been together 10. I couldn't make a marriage work for that long.
Take care of yourself!
Ouch! I can empathize with the klutz in you though.
Having had relatives with Altzheimer's and colon cancer the breakthroughs sound wonderful!
We don't have stairs but it's amazing how much two puppies can enjoy a hall!
I've already decided I'm going to have to make the rewards greater between now and Christmas. Teacher and student are ready for breaks!
As an elementary teacher I worry a lot about "my" kids when they get to secondary school. It seems like sometimes we do so much to "make" them succeed...and like you said, you wonder why you put so much effort sometimes into something that does not seem to matter to them.
In your state would either the ODD or ADD diagnosis be a means to special education services? Does your state try to use 504 before sped? As a teacher of kids with behavior issues get the counseling started!! A lot of it can have to do with the home situation and the sooner you get some help with coping strategies the more success you have!
Hmmm, horses make me think of poop! Not a good thing to be coupled with Christmas shopping!
