Tomorrow we're going to go look for a playmate for Lily. I've been told I'm too stupid for words to think of adding another puppy to the mix but still... If I'm honest I'll admit there's more than one moment in time when Lily is my favorite living creature in the house. She's the only one who doesn't want something from me. Does that make sense? Just give her some petting, make sure the food is out on time and she thinks I'm wonderful. One of the most relaxing moments of my days are when the little hooligan sits in my lap and I just pet. I can feel the tension melting away.

The other thing is that Lily is supposed to be M's dog. Well, it hasn't turned out that way. It bothers M too..that Lily comes to me more often. So maybe if we get Lily a playmate the other puppy will enjoy M more.
