Makes 4 cups.
A sweet & delicious fresh milk with the elegant essence of vanilla.
1 cup soaked almonds (soaked 4-8 hours)
Pinch sea salt
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1/2 vanilla bean (optional - I recommend no unless you cut up really small)
3 tablespoons honey or maple syrup, or 3 soft dates, pitted
In a blender at medium, then high speed, blend soaked almonds, water, & sea salt until smooth. Pour through a strainer into a pitcher to separate pulp. Pour liquid back into the blender & blend in vanilla extract & bean (If using) & sweetener until smooth.
3 stars. Not bad. The vanilla bean is not fun to come across LOL.
