Both are good...I like the new one better but the old has that great 80s vibe

I had never seen the original Tron - should probably go out and net it. The only reason I saw the 2010 movie was because I had a thing for Garrett Hedlung, the character who played the adult Sam Flynn. It was an okay movie..not something I'd watch more than once.

It is really interesting to see how quickly television and film has sped up the pacing of plotlines. A lot of shows/movies from the 70s and 80s seem to feel so slow now.
I remember seeing Tron when it came out and thinking it was so cool. You are right ... now it is pretty basic in the area of technology.
