2011 PG-13 114 minutes

4.25 Stars. Dale-4.5, David-4. Pretty good show. Slow start but great ending! Love the Iron Man tie in! The plot is pretty simple and straight forward nothing mind-boggling. It was just sheer fun and entertaining. Some of the scenes moved a bit too fast and then you couldn't see what was happening.

I am glad to hear that other people feel like today's movies whiz through scenes too fast, as if we are supposed to subliminally absorb and understand what's going on. It seems like nowadays, if there is something to read in order to understand the plot, we barely get a glimpse of it.

They definitely built in connections for The Avengers with the films for the various future team members. You are right about it being slow at the start, but I ended up enjoying it, too.
