In the fifth season of episodes from the smash hit sitcom, Ross (David Schwimmer), Rachel (Jennifer Anniston), Monica (Courteney Cox), Chandler (Matthew Perry), Phoebe (Lisa Kudrow) and Joey (Matt LeBlanc) continue to hilariously navigate their way through a preppy, homogenous Manhattan. The One with the Thanksgiving Flashbacks - Although the Thanksgiving meal is great, Chandler is still moody over his parent's divorce during the holiday when he was a boy and Ross is depressed about his second divorce. The group reminisces about their worst Thanksgivings in order to cheer them up, and Monica's worst memory is revealed. 4.63 stars (Dale-4.5, David-4.75)

9. The One with Ross's Sandwich - Joey starts to get uncomfortable with protecting Monica and Chandler's secret, especially when it places him in embarrassing situations. Meanwhile, Ross becomes enraged at work when someone swipes his turkey sandwich. Phoebe takes a literature class and asks Rachel to come with her, but Rachel doesn't take the class seriously. 4.75 stars (Dale-5, David-4.5)

10. The One with the Inappropriate Sister - Rachel has second thoughts about getting involved with Danny when she observes his uncomfortably close relationship with his sister. Meanwhile, Chandler and Ross have a fight over Joey writing his own play, and Phoebe gets a job as a donation collector. 4.5 stars.

11. The One with All the Resolutions - As 1999 approaches, the group all make resolutions, most of which will require a lot of willpower to accomplish. For instance, Rachel vows to stop gossiping, a resolution that is put to the test when she learns about Monica and Chandler's relationship. 4.5 stars.

12. The One with Chandler's Work Laugh - Monica begins to hang out with Chandler during his work functions, since they don't have to keep their relationship a secret among his coworkers. However, she learns that Chandler has a second, more annoying personality when he's around his boss. Meanwhile, Ross learns that Emily is getting remarried and in his grief hooks up with an old nemesis of the gang: Janice. 4 stars.

13. The One with Joey's Bag - When Joey decides to change his image in order to land an acting gig, Rachel offers to help by hooking him up with the latest fashions from her store. Meanwhile, Phoebe's grandmother passes away and she plans for the funeral. 4.25 stars (Dale-4.5, David-4)
