Through interviews with a host of gay and lesbian producers, directors and actors -- including John Waters, Todd Haynes, Gus Van Sant and more -- directors Lisa Ades and Lesli Klainberg explore the roots of queer cinema. Along the way, this thoughtful documentary examines the cultural, political and social influences that have shaped the way stories depicting gay life have found their way into films over the last 50 years.

4 stars. Fascinating look into queer cinema. Loved the history and I wrote down a ton of titles that I'll have to add to our Netflix queue! Wish it had a little more to it...maybe more interviews or more information.
By the way, nice pic of you on front page. You're very handsome.
