I know that most so-called "college education" has become almost a joke. This began in the late 1960's in loony land, Berkeley, northeast of Oakland and SanFran. The originator of our current phase of touchy-feely liberalism, which is totally devoid of all sane, rational, and cognizant thought processes. Of course a "student" may major in "basket weaving" or "origami" maybe with a minor in aroma-therapy; and I just read where Illinois State U. offers a degree in "glass blowing" In many ways, the undergraduate degree of today very much resembles the secondary education trade schools of my day and time. Yes, no doubt that I am just spoiled by being so everyday immersed in my physics and calculus. But there is no wonder then that America is so intellectually behind so many, or most other industrialized countries, based upon what we call a successful "higher education." Perhaps this liberal-democrat education, or more appropriately, a lack of gaining any real knowledge, is an explanation as to why in two Kentucky cities, Louisville and Lexington, people were arrested for exercising there legal free speech rights by hanging in effigy, a Barack Obama. But in San Fran and LA, haning a Sarah Palin "doll" made its way onto TV and the newspapers, and regaled and praised state-wide as an artistic intellectual display. But in reality, these public officials (police and gov. uppys) who allow one and not the other are practicing and promoting racism in reverse, and those are the actions which are truly illegal, not the people expressing themselves with a hanging demonstration.
