Verizon is what we've gotten since we had terrible experiences w/Cingular. It's rated the best in the country according to Consumer Reports.
Oh my goodness! We have something in common! We started collecting monkeys b/c when our son was around 13, he had to get a "buzz" (shortest haircut one can get) to be on the swim team. People started calling him "Curious George", hence the beginning of monkey collectibles. He no longer looks like CG when his hair is buzzed, since the shape of his head has changed. But we have collected random sets of the 3 monkeys (mainly referring to the 3 of us!). Our sets are not nearly as nice as yours! When we're together, we should do a family picture similar to yours. Great idea!
Blue Q puts out a line of products called, "Boss Lady"... and the logo is a cowgirl lassoing the air. Being a package designer, I appreciate the fine print, which usually has gobs of amusing but unnecessary anecdotes.
Wow, you must be in ship shape! Beautiful pics and interesting finds on your walks.
Nice ramp for Hux and Sophie. Beautiful quilt too!
Thurber's quote is so true. Great list!
Went to Costco today, perusing the world of choices. Went to buy pine nuts, but ended up buying other items such as pecans, raw almonds, and salad mix. Fortunately, we live in a modestly small apartment short on storage, thereby making our decision to buy mass quantities of anything simple. Going down aisles that display 12 kinds of anything . . . well, it makes one mindful that we live in a nation of excess and too many choices. It helps to stick to a shopping list. Go in, get out, get on with it. Oh, and instead of paper or plastic, we've been bringing canvas bags to use instead.

Your limericks are so good - would you consider publishing once you have accumulated say, 50 or so? Would generate nice revenue, no?
"He...Joan Rivers." Imagine what great things could be accomplished if there was a way to judge the beauty of the heart through thoughts. Now THERE's something that warrants attention!
I met this guy in Palos Verdes at a chic bookstore. He was telling me all about his capitalist venture and knew that over time, the domain name would reap big bucks. $2.6m doesn't seem like much when you think of Google's acquisition of Blogger.
Good for YOU! Sushi is sort of the generic word for Japanese bite-size hor d'oerves. Raw fish (ahi tuna, yellowtail, etc) over a tiny clump of rice, banded with a strip of "nori" (roasted, toasted seaweed) is called "Sashimi". There is a distinction. But YAY for you for trying it. I LOVE it personally, and when I need my "sushi fix", I'll shop at Bristol Farms, Whole Foods, or Trader Joe's for a beautiful little tray of California Sushi (usually these are vegetarian, but some places add crab or imitation crab). It is one of the most healthy kinds of food to eat in these times. A note on wasabi: it is horseradish which, as you know, can give you a burn "up the nose" if you use too much. But it sounds like you did GREAT. Hats off to YOU! I'd rather eat sushi than say, escargot. Blech!
"The world is full of sane people..." - so true!
ITarget too.
Aw. They are adorable! Glad they're doing much better.
