Last night, I got to attend the Dallas Margarita Society's Annual Margarita Ball. This is an AWESOME event which benefits a children's charity yearly. There are margarita fountains all around the room, music that everyone knows is played, and the after parties are incredible. I tagged along with my married friends, Misty and Dustin, and we had a blast! We volunteered to help out at Will Call for a couple of hours in exchange for free admission into the ball. What a great spectator vantage point we had! We giggled, we snorted, we oohed and aahed at all the gowns and other attire. After that, we got invited to an after party. I will tell you that I was a little buzzed and a LOT tired when I dragged myself home at 5am this morning! Needless to say, we all had a fabulous time, and we WILL be going back next year!

I am enclosing pictures of me before I got ready and another of right before we left. I know I have such a long way to go on this weightloss journey, but last night, I felt pretty. I felt like I had reached a great starting point, and I liked what I saw. I can't wait until next year. My goal is to get a halter or sleeveless gown. Guess I'll be needing a cape.
