When I started this journey, I was 264 pounds. My first big goal was to lose 10% of my body weight. I am less than half a pound away from that. At the time, I wondered how I'd feel after losing 26 pounds. Here are things I've noticed:
- I have lost 2 clothing sizes in both tops and bottoms
- I don't get short of breath when walking short distances - even longer distances are much easier.
- I sleep better.
- I feel more energy throughout the day, even with my hectic schedule.
- My knees and back are nearly pain-free.
With all of these improvements, I am so incredibly motivated to finish this journey to its completion. I'm a Subway fanatic and eat it almost daily. It is a healthy(er) food for my on-the-run lifestyle and gives me all the food groups when I get a yogurt on the side. I'm ready to enter the holidays and continue to lose weight, rather than gaining it. What challenges do you have upcoming? How are you going to plan ahead to help you continue to lose?
