Maybe it was the time change, maybe it was just a need... but DH and I woke up the same time yesterday - at the crack ass of dawn. Tossing and turning, we opted to face one another and start talking to each other instead.
We both cherish our quiet moments in bed. It's like the world stops moving for a couple minutes and it's just he and I laying together...talking, touching, breathing.
We wanted to fall back asleep but couldn't. We chatted, we kissed, we had sex. Yum. I love me some morning sex. Especially when he's behind me.
We both had no problem falling back asleep.
Several hours later, he snuck out of bed. I lay there for a hot minute before looking at the clock. Fucking time change stole an hour.
I got up and almost immediately showered because the stuff had marinated and that's no good.
DH made a reservation at our favorite steak place. We hadn't been in about a year. When making a reservation, they always ask if there's a special reason - birthday, anniversary, etc.
"No reason," he said to the phone. "It's just a good day."
'Cept the stupid time change crap. I hate that!
