It is amazing, how people respond when asked to comment about the terrorist actions of a family member. The same protestation is heard over and over, "He would never do such a thing."
I do not have much doubt about the sincerity of such protested denials. Not much anyway. But it does seem to be an indication that the family in each case has been deceived by the perpetrator in the most cunning and devious way.
If you ask me, that is the scary part. The level of duplicity and deception makes my skin creep.
