It's admirable how you fought your way out of the shelter, got your and your son's lives back on track, and made a new life for yourself. Very impressive! You have lots to teach other people. It's too bad some people don't want to get out of the rut their in and help themselves.

It was informative reading about your pre/post surgery posts. I know squat about open heart surgery so I found it interesting.

You sound a lot like my brother-in-law. He suffers from OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder)...he pushes and pushes himself to be the best. He's a perfectionist. He's excellent in his profession just like you are. He suffers from insomnia, stomach problems, panic attacks, etc.
