Work last night sucked. We had a whole load of customers and in all the confusion we left out a couple of orders, we got those sorted out, after a crazy arrogant woman who is a regular at the restaurant laid into us. And she told us that she was going to see our boss today. With any luck he will ignore her. If not Tanya and I will have to explain that we were overwhelmed and lost track of things. We weren't in the wrong here. I only hope that our other boss knows that, as she is still under a lot of stress.

I have worked for five nights in a row. I am tired and irritable, and I keep sleeping through my alarm in the morning. I am not enjoying it. However I get to class on time and try to stay awake. Next week will be better since my work schedule is less and I'll be able to get more sleep and my studying done.

And yes, I’m still flirting with my crush and still have no clue if he’s gay or not, but I did get up the courage to ask him if he'd like to hang out with me tomorrow. I told him "hey, there's this movie I've been wanting to see forever, want to see it with me?" He accepted. I already did the “You don’t have a girlfriend?” and all he did was smile. What the heck?

This was an interesting conversation between crush and me two nights ago:

Co-Worker: "Did you know that chewing gum while peeling onions will prevent you from crying.*

Me: *Smiles at Co-Worker*. You think it’s true?

Co-Worker: "I don’t know, maybe. I do a lot of cooking at home but I’ve never cried when peeling or cutting onions."

This is the first time that he initiated the conversation. Random though, but still, it was nice to see that he feels somewhat comfortable in talking to me now. I was busy a bit, so I couldn’t really talk to him. He made an observation that I drink a lot of Snapple and we somehow got into a conversation about where I bought it and they don’t sell Diet Snapple at Costco. I know what you guy’s are thinking, “Lame conversation”. I know that …

I'm really looking forward to hanging out with him tomorrow and just getting a chance to talk.


*Unrelated to work - I got my camera back! A while ago my old digital camera stopped working so my Mom and I took it in for repairs. We reckon its been sitting at the store for almost a month now, because we never got a phone call from them. Mom had to go in an discover the fate of it. They ended up calling back, and when I got home from work last night, it was waiting for me on my bed, in perfect working order, so I took a photo this morning of our dog just to get back into it.
