Poor Lulu

She got spayed yesterday.

I just wish it cost a wee bit less to get her operated on. In case any of you out there need to get your pet neutered/spayed, you should go to Link to Site and get a neutering certificate for less than $100 (the vets charged a few hundred bucks on top of that for anaesthesia, drugs, etc.). It cuts down the cost of spaying and neutering dramatically. If we had gone to our regular vet, it would have cost upwards of $800. But with this certificate, it cuts it down to around $300-$400… and it’s done by reputable vets too.

Hopefully she’ll heal quickly. I hate the thought of leaving that big white Elizabethan collar on her for two weeks.

It’s gonna be torture for her.

Wow! That's expensive! Here in Hawaii they have a special that costs only about $50.

Sure Lulu just wants to beat my thunder--how can I beat getting a new aorta valve replacement when she has been nuetered?!?!?!
Why so much?? Our local ASPCA only charges about $80!!

It is so much money, and it is definitely not comfy for them. I ended up sleeping on the floor when Jolie had to go in for hers.

Poor baby...but it's for the best. With all of these animals out their that no one spades or neuters we are overrun with animals that are spreading disease & going hungry. I keep watching animal planet & see many many people with tons of cats & dogs and if they would jsut get them fixed they wouldn't be so overrun with them. HGUS and hope your baby is better soon.

Goodness! Lily and Leo go the end of August for spay/neuter. It's going to cost us less than $200 for each dog!
