Here in Northwest Ohio, the first sign of autumn's arrival is morning fog. The cooler days with temps barely hitting 70 degrees and the cool nights in the 50s are so welcome. This year, over 30 days of our summer were very hot, over 90 degrees with heat indexes over 100 degrees. Glad that misery is over.
Dear Teal, you and serendipity are truly best friends. I always will admire your embrace of instinct and action in your life.
Such heartbreaking news --- my sympathy and care fly to Ed and you.
Do I ever identify with this post! I moved to a new condo 6 weeks ago, and my weeks and weeks of sorting and tossing out and packing were such a trial of the damned. How thrilled I am to have all that over. Lesson learned. No more keeping stuff that I am not actively using. Thank heaven for resale shops.
Enjoy! Now I need two more kitties!! 😽😽
My dear friend was diagnosed with Afib not long ago, and is doing very well on her medicine. My good, supportive best wishes are always with you, Jeri. (((( ⤠))))
My friend's husband loves Revolutionary War historical reenacting as a hobby. He has friends from all over after doing this for many years. He showed me his musket recently. Goodness, was it longer than I am tall and heavy! I could never have actually have aimed and fired it. It was fun to see all his gear.
As for Trump and his pandering unethical Republican enablers in the House and Senate trying to squeeze out whatever policy horrors they can before their Orange Leader is carted off to impeachment and/or jail and/or the mental hosputal inpatient wing, all I can say is, "When they show you by their actions who they are, believe them."
I think the current editing time is fine.
Wonderful you could be there!
If I am to get lost in anything, it is most likely to be cooking and baking blogs. They fascinate me. Inevitably, I get in inner conversations with myself, discussing choices of ingredients, or questioning the varietals of grapeseed and virgin cold-pressed olive oils, or whether the whole dish would have been better with fresh organic herbs and French sea salt. Honest to Pete, only my blog friends can see the joy in all of that! Cheers!
