As I mentioned in one of my recent posts, I mentioned that Ray's dad was going to have a catheterization today to check and see if there were any major blockages that had to be dealt with. The good news is that the procedure went well. The news wasn't as good as we would have liked. It seems that he has three pretty major blockages so they are now working on scheduling triple bypass surgery for him.
Ray and his family are taking it pretty well. I think a big part of it is because they have gotten used to his heart troubles. Besides already having had quadruple bypass in the past, he has also had an artifical heart valve installed. It is not that they aren't worried, but they are taking the whole thing in stride.
The doctor is supposed to sit down with Ray's parents to set up a schedule as to when they should do the surgery, but it shoul dbe sometime in the next week or two.
To be honest, I am just hoping that things will get sorted out quickly. I want him to be back on his feet again for Ray and the rest of the family. Thank God Ray has me around to do all the worrying.
