Switching Phones

I am debating what I want to do about my new phone. I think I mentioned the other day that it was not my first choice as a replacement for the phone that disappeared. In fact, it was not a model that I had even looked at prior to the day I got to the store and realized that my top two options were either no longer carried by the store or out of stock. The third option I had looked at was just too pricey.

Well, I am not really liking the interface for the new phone too much. It just works kinda funny. It is not a horrible phone, but it was a hasty decision that I am not sure I want to stick with for the long haul. I called today and found out that the out-of-stock phone I had been interested in was in stock again. It is the Samsung Gravity. I talked to someone at the store and learned that since it was within the 14 day trial period, I could bring back the phone I have and switch it for this one.

A part of me really feels like a jerk for doing that since I feel like I am wasting their phone. At the same time, I don't have access to most punctuation when texting and the letters are arranged in a really funky manner on it. So, I think I am going to stop in tomorrow on my way to work to look into switching it.

The other thing that is probably really shallow is that I REALLY don't like the way the phone I have now looks.

I think this switch will be a nice option. It will be something I really want and think I will like.

My phone is pretty old- about 5" long and 3/4" think. No bells, no whistles, just a phone. It does save messages, numbers, has game options, etc., but I have no clue how to do any of those things.

I think the sideways one would be better for typing. It's all about being practical. (Downplay the looks.)

A phone is to make a call--why does it have to do anything else?? Why does it have to 'look' a certain way??? I know, I know, I'll never understand!
