Our book sale this Friday night and Saturday was a pretty good success. We brought in about $675 in sales. We are really happy with the results.

The Friday night portion is a "Friends Preview." That means only people who are members of the Friends of the Library are able to come in and shop. It is opened up the next day for anyone and everyone. We usually get quite a few people willing to pay to become members of the Friends group so that gives us some more income as well. It is really worth it.

I was actually chairing this event so it meant that I was helping with setup on Thursday evening after work and Friday morning before going into work. I also came right back after work to actually man the book sale.

It was definitely worth all of the hard work, though.
