This graphic is pretty perfect for the way things have been in my life. Don't worry ... things are good. It really comes down to my scheduling. It is like the wave. I pretty much just cost from one thing to the next. The good thing is I am keeping up on everything, but I just feel like I need a little bit more down time.

I have always been one of those people willing to volunteer for anything and everything. I like to help out, and if I have the necessary skills I am willing to step up to the plate. Well, for the first time, I have had to really start reconsidering that. I was right on the edge of overextending myself.

It is the reason why I haven't been doing much blogging over the last few weeks. I just haven't had the gumption to step up and work on it. I will be honest and say that I have really missed it. It is such a great way to share and get things off my shoulder. That is true with the good things and the not-so-good things.

The last few weeks, I have been working on weeding back some of my responsibilities. It was tough for me because I am not too good at admitting that I can't do something. Well, it wasn't a question of whether I could do it or not ... it was a question of needing to have the down time so I could be productive enough to make sure that I was doing everything to the best of my ability.

As part of cutting back, I am also going to be turning over a new leaf. I am going to try and get back in the saddle with posting more information about the regular things in my life. I will still do the book reviews, but I want to go back to doing more than that again.
