Last Friday, Ray picked up the set for the first part of season one of The Love Boat. We have been watching an episode a night the last few nights. I forgot how much fun this show it.

It is a nice mix of humor and drama. It presents light stories that make you laugh and feel for the characters without the heavy over-drama of so many of today's shows.

It is also filled with so many of the stars of the shows of the day. It is something that does not happen today. I can only guess that it is because it is too expensive to pay people to do such guest starrign roles.

To be honest, I do remember a lot of the shows since I was pretty young when it first started its voyages. Fortunately, it lasted long enough that I got to enjoy it in later years. It was a great way to start Saturday nights.
