I am too cheap to do Weight Watchers, but I do get the importance of community support (embarrassment) with group weigh-ins so I figure I am going to use all my e-pals here to serve in that role. I hope you don't mind.
First, I should probably start by doing the initial weigh-in. I actually did it last week. My target weight, which I had been at for about 2 1/2 years, was 164. A lot of people thought that I was a little thin, but that is where I was supposed to be for my height, 5'11. When I weighed in last wee, I was actually at 206 lbs. That is right folks, I put on 40 lbs. I am really frustrated about it, but I know I can get the weight off. I did it before.
Well, when I stepped onto the scale, it read 202 lbs. While, it is nothing like what I would need to compete on The Biggest Loser, but it is a great start. Heck ... it is almost a 10th of what I want to lose, and it is definitely appropriate for my 12 week timetable.
While I am ashamed of the weight gain, I am proud of what I did this past week.
