After work today, I drove right to the library in town. With the new larger building, they are able to do a lot of different types of programs. The newest of which is going to be a series of art shows highlighting young artists in Burrillville. Tonight was the first in the series, which is expected to be quarterly. The show focused on the amazing photographs of a local teen named Mike Bailey-Gates. His work is really amazing. He has been doing photography since he was 12. It was great getting to walk around the programming room and see prints of some of his work (the above is a great example).

I think it is great how some people just have a wonderful ability to capture the spirit of a scene with a camera. His photos are filled with amazing detail and color. I know that most of them really made me feel something, which is really a good sign. I know some of you are artists so you may have a better ability to judge.
