Guess who' coming for dinner! This is Nala sitting on my sister Andrea's lap. Why is it the biggest dogs thinks they are lap dogs and the little ones are beaking off like cage fighters? Nala is part standard poodle and part giant Schnauzer which would make her a Schnoodle or a Poozer or a Whoopsidoodle or some such stupid name for what we used to call a "mistake". As a dog, she barely makes the category, she is afraid of fire crackers, the dark, dust bunnies and paper bags, and she can't swim or retrieve. On the other hand, she is absolutely clever and affectionate and obedient - I can't even find that in a man, never mind a dog.
