Stanley Coren
Stanly Coren sums up pretty much how we feel about dogs around here. Had an enjoyable weekend that involved many dogs, many walks and just a bit of sunshine.
The bulbs are starting to push their way through the still cold earth. It won't be long until spring makes us take our jackets off and revel in the sun returning to us. We are all pagans at heart. Caught in the cycles of suns and moons and planets, we need and want the feel and smell of dark wet earth, hoping it will give up its secrets to us. We rejoice in the spring, get fat and indolent in the heat of summer, harvest our bounty crops in the fall and hibernate from the furies of winter.
Here are some pictures from my weekend, hope you enjoy
First - an incoming JAL against the pale winter sky

The girls gather around Treatman Wayne in anticipation...

There was still ice on the pond...

We saw lots of Gnarly Trees....

and these branches I call Roibois (it's not)...

And we met this cute puppy... who I thought looked pretty regal in black and white
