My city has some so-so architecture but once in a while, the light and the angles combine to produce a great picture. This is the train depot on the edge of the downtown core. It is a beautiful building, but with the sun starting to rise behind it, it becomes a snapshot from the past. It was built between 1917 and 1919 and is home to the national passenger train service - Viarail and Amtrak (for service to the U.S.) and it is also the Greyhound bus station.
Welcome to where I work. I took this at 7 am as I left the skytrain station.
