Sad Moment

Tears here today as daughter took our faithful , loveable pooch Honey to the vet to be put down. A month ago the vet said she had cancer in the throat, but as she was still lively and eating gave tablets as treatment and let nature take its coarse.
Yesterday daughter noticed she would not go outside but just lay on her bed , also her stomach was real tight, previous nights meal uneaten, she still wagged her tail when spoken too but could see she was in pain , so the decision was made and it was time.
She was 12 years of age ---BUMMER

Oh, Kevin, we had to euthanize our adorable orange tabby, Brunswick, in May. I am still crying. He, too, had cancer -- it was in his nose reaching back to the brain. He was about 13-14. We are down to one kitty from three when we lost our large black, Chewy, also to cancer, last August. We aren't for the moment, planning to adopt any more and that is also a hard choice. So very sorry for your loss.

Rex has several tumors and the Vet doesn't want to put him under anesthetic
because of his age and weight. He still plays and enjoy's life. We are
hopeful but I plan to take him to the doctor as soon as she gets back
from vacation. We don't want them to suffer but we want to keep them as
long as we can. I am so sorry about Honey.

Honey was the same , you could see and feel the tumours in her neck, even harder when you see her wag tail for last time
