arrived home after a disastrous trip, was heading north to warmer clime but broke down, stuck in a c/p for a week waiting for engine part and even when that was fitted the diesel motor was only getting half revs so decided nothing else for it but to head home.
took it to local mechanic and am told it looks like new motor but wont know how bad till its dismantled and checked .
quick quote ---could be $4500 to $5500 at worst.
It used 5 litres of oil in the last 600 Ks, oh well at least when its done i will do some more travelling , will be spring wont have so far to travel
Maybe you should just put the money towards a Winter cottage.
yeah maybe i should --but then what do i use for summer house
