Once again. It should start all over tonight after 8 or 9. Several inches up to a foot.
The second day now with temps in the 50's. The front yard is in the house shadow so it is still covered with ice and what used to be deep snow. It is over 15 inches deep in places where the shovel piles were. The back yard has nearly melted away.
Across the street where the sun hits, the snow is gone and mud prevails.
The streets are in rotten condition. Potholes from the freeze and thaws (rare thaws) and the snowplows have destroyed many of them. That is the word our mayor used, "...destroyed," at a city council meeting yesterday.
I have the art guild meeting tonight. Had to move it from next Monday because that would infringe on old Saint Patrick and his frivolity. It is my second biggest annual holiday, of course, right after Cinco de Mayo.
The latter is my birthday and I usually get a free Mexican dinner.
