Our exhibition was in one of the large showrooms along the walls and on antique counters and cabinets. It was exquisitely laid out.
I set my eight paintings along a wall, attached my price cards to the wall, and went to lunch with my friend and patron, Franco.
The show opened at noon and ran until8PM.
Even before the show opened I sold a painting to another artist. $400.
During the show I had several people interested in the larger paintings. After I left to make the almost two-hour return drive in the evening dark, another sold for $450. I got word that another one will probably be purchased this week and that a person is considering a fourth painting!
It was a good result.
I sold these two.
