This obvious compromise Republican candidate has attempted to reposition himself at almost every event and speech. He has always been more of a liberal Republican, but those are a dying breed, He moved first to the way right and now is repositioning toward the center. Talk about flip-flops. Maybe the good from this election battle will be the emergence of a true right-wing party or a flight of voters from the GOP over to the Libertarians, leaving the GOP a shell of its former self.
Last year the roof leaked drips in the bedroom closet. After hating the drip noise in a pan, I bought a huge bag of cheap rectangular sponges at a dollar store, arranged them together where the dripping hit the floor, and taped the assembly down over a plastic liner. The noise was gone and the sponges took all the water.

Where was all this during our three-month drought that began in late May? From Memorial Day to Labor Day we got a total of 1.76 inches of rain. Normal would have been almost ten inches.
