Still hanging with my buds. Hobbie died over a year ago but he blogs from "Hevven."
The political animosity on Blogster drove me away long ago. I enjoy MyBloggers because of who are here and the fact they do not spam us with infantile political rants. It is also easier to navigate, post photos and we all like to schmooze about things like mountain streams full of trout, foxes, Utah sandstone cliffs, knitting, cats and recipes.
In Ohio some cities have shut down traffic cameras, but non-traffic CCTV is showing up everywhere. In London UK they have over 30,000 CCTV cameras on the streets and buildings (outside) and probably more by now.
Another good reason why the USPS is a dinosaur who's time to die has passed. Customer service is non-existent. The workers behind the counters remind me of the barmaids in East Berlin right after the wall fell. They had always been communists and never ever felt like being treated as "servers." Once they had to work for a living and tips, they became spiteful of their customers. Soon they were fired and replaced with West Berlin youths willing to do the service work.
Terrific. BTW: He won't get his pistol back. Justice Dept. put a hold on it during their "pending" investigation.
Remember to carry a honey pot so you can keep the bear from eating you.
I see he has posted.
Great! I also have an enamel-top pull-out leaf table (two leaves). It has a white top with black designs and is signed "Montanari." I've been offered heavy cash for it but I'm keeping it. It is the perfect table for pie-crust making.
RE #7... Ohio has a "Carry and Conceal"Law now and it specifically states you cannot take a firearm into any establishment that serves alcoholic drinks. I was at a bar seat at one of those establishmnets and the guy next to me was bragging about how many pistols he was carrying. He showed me a Sig Sauer and I immediately got out my cell phone and called the police. He was pissed, but left without a hassle and I felt good about upholding one of Ohio's strange archaic laws. It's the wild, wild west here, too.
Fredo: The envelope arrived today! Thx.
Somebody saw Eddie in the transit area of Moscow airport.
If I sat on the high court my opinion about the meaning of the second amendment would be that everyone has the right to own a flintlock pistol or a muzzle-loading rifle.
I wonder how the Founding Fathers would rewrite the second amendment if they could spend a few hours watching today's USA news.
