I am trying to program my dreams. As I lie in bed and fight off the freezing room with three layers of comforters I think about southern California,with the warm sun and low humidity and palm trees and beaches and distant mountains and it works.I dream that I am in a warmer place. That probably has something to do with all the covers I am using.

I sold the last painting! It was titled SNOWMASS but the German lady wants me to re-title it ZAUBERWALD, after a forested mountain area she recalled in her native land. She is a friend who lives in town here, very active in organizations and as a volunteer.

I miss Hobbes at Christmas time. He was the one I called the "Christmas Kittie." He loved to just sit and look at our trees.

We got a five-inch snow storm Saturday. Yesterday we got another inch and a half or two. Today we expect another front to come through with up to two more. Then the weather channel says we will begin to warm a bit and finally get back above freezing, maybe into the 40F area. We have had two straight days of school delays or school closings. Depends on the school districts.
