I just now finished up my taxes (TurboTax helps.)

The Federal got me for a chunk.I can't figure why except that the tax code must have changed from last year. My figures were nearly the same as 2010, but I ended up getting carved for $474. Last year it was $82.00.

Go figure.

The landlord is going to have to hold a promissory note for a few weeks this month.

I could always hock something. Paintings? A couple cats?

Or, I could just let it slide and change my address to Leavenworth.

I can't believe this weather. I should be out playing golf. The lawn has been cut three times already. Some of the birds already have spawned. And I am still trying to get back to full strength from the pneumonia.

Shame.

Down in Tennessee the legislature has introduced a law that would state that holding hands (aimed at young people) is the first step toward sexual conduct.

I never thought of it that way. Maybe I'll try that angle.

In Moronizona, that strange state out west, the governor signed a law that declares pregnancy begins two weeks prior to conception. Tell that to Mary and Joseph, Governor.

I think I need a stiff drink.
