In other news, we are both trying to overcome the nagging cough and nasal maladies that accompany temperature changes and allergy. We went to the very capable Dr. Ochoa yesterday and he prescribed his famously expensive medicine. I don't gripe much, because what he prescribes usually works well and FAST! We're both much better today.
The peso is up to over 14 per dollar, which is like getting a 40% discount on EVERYTHING. Nice for us, not nice for the Mexicans. Presidente Calderón keeps trying to utter soothing words to reassure Mexico and the world that everything is A-OK here. Those of us with half a brain know better.
Meanwhile, the random gang violence, corruption and killing continue all over the country, making Mexico a greater security threat to the US than ever before.
On the brighter side, things are rolling along nicely here at the church. Attendance is up and folks seem to be encouraged.
