My previous post revealed quite a bit about my position on several controversial issues. The fact that my opinions represent to some degree the minority here on MyBloggers further exacerbates the temerity with which I write. I know that anytime I write about anything political or moral in nature, discretion and accuracy are paramount. Any slip of the tongue or unfounded presupposition is eligible for immediate and incisive scrutiny. My inherent desire to be friends with everyone and offend no one coupled with my unwavering commitment to what I perceive to be truth makes for an often miserable combination. Throw in a somewhat sensitive nature and you have the makings of a schizophrenic. LOL. If you take that last statement seriously, I'm going to throw my shoe at you!
BUT, for some reason, I remain here instead of moving to a site where my views would undoubtedly be applauded and further strengthened by warm and hearty support. Only God knows why. And while you certainly do keep me on my toes, you have yet to convince me that the world would be a better place if I were a Democrat. Somehow I get the feeling you haven't been convinced of much by me, either. Touché and Violá! LOL
