The only way to describe how I feel about the current political climate in America is "sad". I hear the news, including, but not limited to CNN, CNBC and Fox News, and it makes me sad. Now don't get me wrong. I enjoy hanging out over here with all you liberal folks, but honestly, I am diametrically opposed almost everything your choice in presidential leadership embraces.

• I am for a very strong and technologically advanced military.


• I am unashamedly pro-life, a position you will be hard pressed to actually condemn anyone for holding.


• I am for bare bones government and little or no government involvement in social construction.


• I am for strong national defense and very secure borders.


• I am for little government spending and very FREE enterprise.


• I care not what any other country thinks of the U.S., as most of them come running to us for help whenever they need it in one form or another. They usually get whatever they ask for and then some.

There's much more but I'm running out of steam. Frankly, I feel like I'm just holding my breath until the next election, desperately hoping the damage isn't to severe by then. I hope to God the Congressional elections swing back to conservatism. I'm no loyal Bush fan, but if I had to choose...
Hopefully, this gloomy mood will be replaced by some kind of good news shortly.
