One of the greatest memories of my life was driving from Albuquerque to Santa Fe at sunset in my convertible--it was so breathtaking I had to pull to the side and I was just overwhelmed with the beauty. That was 40+ years ago and I remember every moment of that experience!

So glad you have escaped to a different culture in the land of enchantment. If you can, go a few miles on to Angel Fire. I think it is so gorgeous and just a day trip away.

YES! We saw that and ran into some people who were headed there. Had flu symptoms today, so we hung out in the room, but we plan for days like that anyway.
