As you may have gathered from a previous post, I have converted from PC to Mac. Despite the obvious learning curve and the fact that ANY computer will be faster than my seven-year-old Toshiba, this MacBook flies! I'm still slogging through the whole learning process of working with a totally different approach to operating systems, but so far so good. I guess my mind was ready for the challenge. Besides, it has been said that learning new things helps ward off such neurological disease such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson's. I sure hope so. Maybe I'll take up Chinese next. LOL
On a different note, we arrived safely from the border, completely worn out and shopped out. Now it's back to the beans and rice every day. jk
Yesterday was killer with meetings almost all day long. Today is sublime, almost as good as looserobes' Abstention, but not quite (I'm blogging).
Jenn is recycling her wedding flowers, decorating the house with them and the associated greenery. I haven't the patience for it myself. Needless to say, my life has become much more aesthetically pleasing now that there's a woman in the house. I never worried much about paint colors, borders, flowers, pictures, etc. I guess I thought bare, white walls were the new clutter.
