Rinpoche in the House ...

Rinny he comed in three times last nite by hisself! All daDDy doed wuz hold open the back door! Today he been in most of the day cuz he comed in the front door when my daDDy went out fer the first time this morning!

Here he wuz exploring the dining room.

Here is is layin on the baff room floor where he pulled down a damp towel.

He likes to lay down on daDDy's pub towel where he makes coffee.

DaDDy hit him wif a tube of flea killer on his upper back and neck whewre he can't lick. He got real mad and poked his big claws at daDDy but daDDy chewed him out and Rinny looked guilty. MOL

Speaking of matting, Max has several clumps that won't comb out. I will have to shave him but have been avoiding it because he is so antsy. Do you have a better way?

Rinny is becoming part of the household. I don't use flea meds. Dr. Michael Fox, who has a syndicated column, has thoughts on what you could do instead. Google him, yes? Congratulations on your new kitty.

I tried the yeast route. Doesn't work very well. I need to get this done now and not have to wait six months to get him cleaned. I bought a metal flea comb, too. Satchel has a matted back and the comb helps me get that taken care of. I have never seen such matting as this year. I think it was the awful heat and humidity.

OMG that flea bitten critter is on the counter where the food is, are you insane. Animals need to be on the floor, it's all about the food chain hierarchy.

Yeah. Right. That's what I keep telling them.

He looks so soft. You know I have a weakness for black and white kitties, they have a great amount of dignity and self confidence. What an adventure for him to explore inside the house. I'll bet you're glad he won't have to be outside in the cold this winter.

He is soft, so far as feeling his fur goes. The muscles are hard, being a feral for a while made him tough.
