DEAR CBS SPORTS:

Why focus your cameras during golf on a guy who is 18 over par and tied for second-to-last? 30 percent of air time watching this bad golfer? Hunter Mahan only got about 9 percent of air time and he won! The guy you concentrated on won't even make the Ryder Cup Team this year, yet you treat him as if he is the world's best. He isn't. Show good golfers. Skip the 'has-been,' Tiger Woods.

The media is the problem, not Tiger. he's a has-been, but the media wants numbers, so they focus on him instead of the winners.

Oh, dear Hobbie, would you be as hard on poor Tiger if he hadn't disgraced himself on the personal level? Supposing he was this super golfer who just lost his mojo? Would he deserve purgatory? I think the media was hoping for a turn-around miracle.
