I have a dear friend in another state going through such terrible things I cannot believe it. She is a disabled senior that lives alone as many of our seniors do these days. When she was injured a while back none of the community came to assist her. Not the Pastor from the church she attends, not the parishioners from said church, Hell, not even a neighbor!! Leaving out the fact that her Loving family did not take it upon themselves to help her, where were we?? By "We" I mean those of us that live and sleep and eat and are a part of a "Community" that reside next to one another. Does the phrase "It takes a Village to raise a Child" ring any bells out there? Are we not as a people supposed to care for one another? Are we not able to discern that someone needs our help simply because we are too Damn busy, or simply choose not to see? And when we see, what kind of "Person" will "choose" not to help?
The Lady i speak of is currently being abused with loud music booming through her tiny home next to some renters 24/7. She has the police there daily to assist, and assist they do not. Where are the folks running these communities we live in? Do they too choose not to see, or do they simply not care above and beyond getting their fat paychecks while we the poor are neglected and abused by others? Should this poor woman, and many others, be subjected to such cruelty that the cannot sleep or eat or even simply relax?? Why? Is it not a time honored tradition and dream to own your own home and live peacefully within your walls?
What has happened to "Honor"? "Compassion"? and "Thoughtfulness"? Are we so far gone as a people we cannot even see any more?? If this is true, then "We" are the "Disabled" and not she...

Is Happy Bunny right after all?? How sad, for us as a "People" of this great nation.
