Do you know the "seven words?" I do! I'm truly going to miss the man.
There is a quiet and strange beauty about these things!
Getting out all of those aggravations!!!!!! I've got a few old computers I'd LOVE to take to the old Pitch N' Putt course!!!!!
You are finally sounding HAPPY!!
Sounds like a positive step in the RIGHT direction for changing your life and doing something that you're going to LOVE doing!!!! GO for it, kid! I'M PROUD OF YOU!!!!!!!!!
Sounds very promising to me. If DC wasn't almost positive that you were going to get the funding, then he would have told you so point blank. As far as quitting your job - you're right; it's a risk. You need to sit down and seriously weigh all options with J. (Suddenly, I'm sounding like a Dad here, aren't I? Sorry about that!) (Is it possible to get this movie done WITHOUT quitting your job?) If I were in your shoes, I don't think I would give it a second thought. I would JUMP at the chance to my script produced!!!!! (These people are the business of taking educated and informed guesses. They've read your script. They wouldn't be EVEN TALKING to you if they didn't think you had a better than average chance of succeeding!) Have you got any idea how scripts are presented and rejected every year? THOUSANDS!!!! Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You are a lot like me, Mel. I play "The Great What-Ifs" all the time too. Sometimes it's fun to play that game; other times, when I let it become all-consuming, it drive me freaking NUTZ! Of course, if the best case scenario occurs, you life will change, hopefully for the better. But if the worst case scenario happens, well, you're still wonderful Mel, getting married to wonderful J, and you'll find another avenue to push your script out to the world! With that all said, let us know as soon as you find out anything! The suspense is killing me!!!!!!!!
This made me cry. Isn't it amazing what love can do? This poor creature was tortured by humans, and yet the love in soul, once given the chance to come forth, just shines through like a beacon! He now lavishes love on the species that caused him such pain! Amazing! I couldn't do that. I'd want my revenge. Leo puts me to shame.
It's all summed up neatly in the last few sentences. We cannot ignore our inner-most selves and expect to be happy and content. Before we can find peace, we must first make peace with ourselves, who we are, where we came from. Only then can the roots pass the nutrients to the branches! This is really nice! Thanks!
WOW! Somebody ought to take away Lynn's phone, huh? This sounds a little like the scene in Tom Sawyer when Tom shows up for his own funeral!
Doesn't surprise me. Your paintings are inspired and peaceful.
Discipline, art and excercise - how can you go wrong?
