Roger is One Lucky S.o.b.

Roger is one lucky Mo-Fo! Does anyone remember that ValuJet plane that crashed into the Florida Everglades back in the 1996 I believe? He was supposed to be on that flight, but he changed it at the last minute because he wanted a different time.

Tonight I have another test for clinical math. I feel confident about this one. I was unsure of that last test last week. I honestly thought I was going to fail, but I got an 88%. Thank God, I was losing sleep over that one.

The test in on reading drug orders and converting F° to C°. Then next week an actual nursing instructor takes over the class so we can get into the "nitty gritty."

Oh well, time for lunch which is yet to be determined. Have a killer day all.

Not only that but, obviously, Roger is smart--now he will have a live in nurse when he gets older!!!

1 grain = 60 mg

1ml = 12 minums

I had to look this up...I thought 16 minums = 1 cc not 12.

Wait until your last year, that is when I really started loving it. That is when we began incorporating disease process with nursing (first year was skills, mental health, charting and (ugggg, Ob/GYN). At the time, I had the philosophy that I would memorize it for the test (the ob and mental health) because I had no intention of doing either of those. Little did I realize the NCLEX finds your weaknesses, and keeps asking you questions of that nature. My test quickly turned into crazy people and women in labor. I passed, but it was like every other question was one of those.

PS. They are paying travel nurses $45.00/hr in Louisanna. Sounds like travel time, huh?

ratio: per-por-tion. How many miniums does it take to fill a bathtub? Good luck~ you'll do fine. Math was my most feared thing about nursing school. I faced that's booger down, you will too!

Wow that crash was awful. I've heard so many stores about people who were supposed to be on a flight that crashed or at the Twin Towers that day who didn't make it for one reason or another! He is lucky! Sorry about the math test.
