OK its Sunday and I have it off. A treat I am not used to. Sunday’s I am usually up and about 4am.
So what I am going to do is take a mental health day.
Translated I am going to stay on the couch.
I have been betrayed though.
By of all people--my girlfriend and her son. Oh the pain.
What happened you ask-was she unfaithful? No worse!
I have-let me rephrase that. I had a old beat up yellow couch in my living room. It was my friend, it greeted me every night in its weary old arms.
Yes it was thread bare, yes the cushions no longer had the bounce they once had. It was stained with BBQ sauce and cat hair.
But it loved me and I loved it.
It was my resting place for naps and when I feel asleep watching TV late at night.
In fact the first time she and I (if you get my drift) got to really know each other was on that couch. In fact we got to know each other a bunch on that couch.
Well what happened was Saturday she was out doing yard sales and saw a blue plaid country wing back couch. Like brand new and only $50.00. So for some strange reason she had to buy it for me. Damm it.
I don’t like it. It’s blue-it’s plaid. The cushions don’t fit my butt. It’s to short. Did I mention it’s plaid.
And they left me no choice in the matter. In order to get it in the dumpster her shit head son cut it up with a chain saw. I hope I catch him the next time I have a power tool.
Yes I know the woman loves me-yes I know she meant well. Yes I will get used to it. It’s not like I can get rid of it. Damm.
She didn’t mind getting stains on the old one--bet those days are over too.
Did I mention it’s plaid.
The worse part is I had to pretend I liked it. Damm

In the got ya file. My love, my old friend Cindy asked for some help with some music to help her lose weight. This ought to get her fat ole butt back on the treadmill.
