OMG, I would have been hysterical. I am so glad you realzied what happened and got him to a vet. That vet would have had to give me tranquilizers. Bless your heart, I am so glad he puked it up and is recovering. (((HUGS))) to you and Spike.

Somtimes it helps just to write the letter and tuck it away in a safe place and then read it later. It helps to get things out of your mind and perhaps you might want to change something you wrote previously. I can't tell you how many letters I have written that I never mailed.

Good Grief, using the energy saving light bulbs saved you $45! That is amazing. If your hot water heater is electric, it should save you quite a bit to turn it off at night. That's what we used to do when I lived in Greece. You had to get an injection into the upper eyelid....ouch, that sounds painful. Good luck on the tests.

Hobbes, what a cool place to sleep. Do you like to drink water dripping from the faucet. My sister had a cat and that was the only way he would drink water. She had to leave it dripping all the time. Silly cat!

WOW! Congratulations, Nanna. There is nothing sweeter than a grandchild. They are God's gift to Mothers who have raised their own children because we can love them and spoil them and let the parents deal with responsibilities. I have a little granddaughter in Idaho who is 21 months old and she is adorable. Look forward to having lots of fun.
