I agree with you, John McCain actually made sense with some of his ideas over the years. I think when he ran for president the Republican party steered him in an obnoxious direction, and he descended to the general level of the party.

I think it is funny that Jane Fonda will play Nancy in one movie while Michael Douglas will play Ronnie in another--the Republicans must be turning over in the Convention center--Michael goes from Liberace to Reagan!!~!~
Your right there on McCain.I do respect him and he does not bad mouth Obama like the others.
Before McCain caved to the Right because he wanted the prize so much, he was a decent Republican alternative. All the rest, including Eisenhower, who was so much in awe of big business that he gave away the store, are losers.
