Poor You

There are several things to handle with no increase in salaries.
Here are some hints:
Take coffee from home,saving 40$ a month
Brown bag lunches for you and your spouse.
$200 a month
Cut back on cable services, dropped all HD/ON
Demand features due to increased premiums,
and have only extended basic, savings about
$140 a months.
Get rid of your SUV and get a small car, this
will save you about $160 a month.
If you have a motorcycles as much as possible
in fair weather to save on gas.
Instead of vacation,do day trips to save on
hotel expenses.
If you have an IRA do not contribute too much.
You probably need the cash every week.
If your still young, hopefully that this will
turn around in a couple of years.
So,what financial sacrifices are you going to
made.
Write a blog on this.Tell us how you are going
to cut back and ideas that you may have  there.

IF I had money (like you) I would have to cut back--I can't afford a LARGE TV--I am on dial up--no car--don't own a home--being poor I don't have to worry like you rich folks!

Excellent post. I think I might write a blog in response to this later this week as we went to see a financial planner last year, and it really turned our lives around. Not that we were in debt, but when you can see where your money is going, it makes a HUGE difference in helping you to change your habits.

I may have to resort to any more drastic measures than these if this economy gets much worse.

I already do most of these - and I don't want to cut back on my IRA because I want to retire, ASAP!
